Fear of Failure

Who taught us to fear failure?

At what point does failing begin to scare us? After we learn to walk? Bruised knees and countless falls didn't stop us After learning to ride? Skinned knees and elbows didn't stop us When did failing become something to avoid at all costs? When did we learn to fear failure? Who taught us?

When did we learn to fear failure?

Who taught us?

  1. Teachers, parents, a boss from work, a coach from a sports team, if you fail or if anyone of us fails then the above mentioned feel as though it is their fault, as though they are responsible. Live and learn. As I look back, I realize you can push someone to far. Words of encouragement and patience is by far more effective than a big fat F on a school paper
